Melbourne International Arts Festival

There are many ways local and visiting artists can become involved with the Festival.

LOCAL ARTIST CARD
Local artists can apply for the Local Artist Card which enables you to engage with the Festival at our best rate - by seeing shows, attending forums, discussions and by interacting with staff and visiting artists. Applications will be open from 19 July 2010. N.B: You do not need to apply for the Local Artist Card if you are participating in the Festival.

WORKSHOPS & LECTURES
In collaboration with a variety of arts organisations Melbourne Festival will facilitate a diverse program of workshops and lecture demonstrations led by some of the acclaimed, international, creative artists appearing in the Festival. More details on the 2010 programs to come.

SUBMISSIONS POLICY
The Melbourne International Arts Festival is a curated program. There is no selection committee to consider unsolicited submissions and therefore we are not able to offer assessment and feedback. Inclusion in the Festival is by invitation from the Artistic Director. The character of the Festival is dependant on the curatorial vision of each Artistic Director.
