Patrons Circle
Philanthropic leadership is essential to the Melbourne Festival's creative and economic strength. Through the Patrons Circle we seek investment from individuals and businesses toward mutual benefit - the investment in art and artists, the presentation of productions and exhibitions to the highest standard, and building international recognition for the artistic contributions of Australia and in particular, of Melbourne.
Due to the generosity of our Patrons, the Festival can make the critically acclaimed work of today's artists available to the broadest range of people. The generosity of our Patrons not only ensures that we can build upon an outstanding reputation for delivering the best international artistic program possible but also directly enriches the broader community as it enables us to provide free, outdoor, international arts.
Patrons belong to a group of dedicated supporters and comprise the Festival's closest friends. They enjoy exclusive opportunities to meet visiting with performers, to engage with the Festival's Artistic Director and staff, and to experience the most exciting works of the Festival from the best seats in the house.
Donations to the Patrons Circle are fully tax-deductible and Patrons receive:
- Priority seating and a personalised ticketing service
- Acknowledgement in Festival publications and on our website
- Exclusive ability to purchase tickets to Festival functions including Opening Party and Artist Suppers
- Quarterly eNewsletter and voting rights for the Patrons Award

Melbourne International Arts Festival Patrons Circle offers six levels of donation to choose from:

Donations of $25,000 and above |

Donations of $10,000 to $24,999 |

Sapphire |
Donations of $5,000 to $9,999 |

Emerald |
Donations of $1,500 to $4,999 |

Pearl |
Donations of $750 to $1,499 |
|
Topaz |
(25 years and under) $250 |
Please note that acknowledgement is limited to one name only for donations up to $4,999 and two names for donations of $5,000 and over.
Business Patrons
The minimum donation for a business or company to be acknowledged as a Patron is $2,500.
